Abstract:
Smart Maintenance is one of the upcoming trends in current century. Using low cost, long range and low power sensor networks in conjunction with intelligent algorithms gives the opportunity to predict failures before a production system becomes critically damaged. This work presents an application case for innumerous sensor nodes connected to a maintenance cloud system to prevent cost-intensive damage of conveyor systems.
