              Abstract:
Synthetic Aperture Radar are formed by radar waves emitted on a particular frequency bandwidth. Recent satellite SAR systems offer a larger bandwidth which can be applied to the automatic detection of man-made structures. This paper compares some indicators deriving from inter-band interferograms in order to discriminate pixels dominated by strong scatterers from those dominated by distributed scatterers. First results applied to a Cosmo-SkyMed image show the potential of some indicators for detecting man-made structures.
