Abstract:
The authors aim to develop a synthetic aperture radar system mountable and operatable on a multicopter type drone. The drone-borne SAR is efficient for observation of steep slopes, which are difficult to observe with space-borne SAR, and is effective to monitor slopes of mines and landslides by applying InSAR analysis. Since the flight path can be freely designed for the drone, we plan to develop to three-dimensional displacement measuring technology in the future.
