Abstract:
Arc array antenna directional resolution is unaltered with the increase of beam range, which is beneficial to maintain relatively stable resolution of the imaging observation. Sidelobe performance is an important index of radar system, in order to obtain low sidelobe, complexity of feeder network and mutual coupling effect between elements must be considered. In this paper, based on changing radial aperture irradiation function and through frequency scanning mode, low sidelobe is obtained by mixed weighting method with the scheme of unequal power divider. Feasibility and effectiveness of the arc array antenna low sidelobe weighting method are verified by computer simulation.
