Abstract:
Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) is a well-established technique that obtains 2D high-resolution radar images of moving targets. However, it can not provides 3D information about the target. Unfortunately, the standard 3D turntable ISAR imaging needs data gathering over the azimuth-elevation plane which requires a large amount of dataset and is time-consuming. In this paper, we propose an effective 3D ISAR imaging technique for a turntable model via Compressive Sensing(CS) MIMO radar, which exploits the vertical random deployment of the phase centre of a CS-MIMO using a limited number of antennas.
