Abstract:
In this work, SAR data that is acquired with waveform diversity is processed to detect and suppress the residual nadir and range ambiguity. A novel algorithm nadir and range ambiguity suppression method based on double dual focusing is developed. SAR data is first processed to extract the nadir image. Nadir is detected and suppressed. Then data is processed to extract the range ambiguous image. Ambiguities are detected and suppressed. Lastly nadir and ambiguity free SAR image is extracted. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is promising for suppressing the residual nadir and range ambiguity.
