Abstract:
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) plays an important role for generating high-resolution images of target scene because of its all-weather capabilities. The Doppler shift of moving target induces delocalization and defocusing effect in the SAR image. In this paper, we introduce a road-independent method via circular synthetic aperture radar (CSAR) for motion parameter estimation of moving targets on the river. First, the CSAR geometry and signal model of the moving target are established. We then outline the methodology of the proposed two-stage parameter estimation method and give the mathematical analysis of this method. Experimental SAR data results are presented to prove the validity and feasibility of the proposed method.
