              Abstract:
When a building is struck by lightning in an industrial facility, a partial lightning current can flow through the rein-forcement of cable ducts, causing interference to the cables routing inside. The current induced in the cables can be es-timated using a full-wave approach. Nevertheless, the accuracy of the estimation depends on the representativeness of the numerical model, which is why experimental validation is important. In this paper, we present the experimental re-sults obtained at a full-scale reinforced concrete cable duct and we compare them to the results of numerical simulations carried out using the FDTD method.
