Abstract:
Experimental DWDM 75x42-Gbaud DP-256-QAM transmission is demonstrated in the C-band over 50 km of Universal fibre, meeting conventional single-mode transmission performance while allow-ing for SDM upgrades as well as 850nm VCSEL-based multimode transmission. Penalties due to mul-tipath interference are analysed with offset at launching splice.
