Abstract:
We propose and experimentally demonstrate an ultra-simple polarization-diverse transceiver architecture for low-cost, multi-format, and flexible-rate coherent PON. With residual carrier modulationbased phase recovery and conjugate combination, we demonstrate 100 to 300 Gbps access using 4/16/64-QAM in FLCS-CPON with extended frequency offset tolerance of 45 GHz.
