Abstract:
This paper presents a proof-of-concept demonstration of RAN Intelligent Controller scheduled fronthaul over a coherent PON testbed. The optical transport layer supports flexible digital subcarrier configurations, offering a maximum capacity over 200 Gbps, and can be programmed through the O-RAN specified E2 interface.
