Abstract:
In this publication, the realizable higher loads of overhead lines in normal operation with curative grid management are determined. In contrast to previous work, a simulation environment for the dynamic analysis of curative grid management is presented in detail. In addition to electrical parameters, the temperatures of the conductors are also determined in a 110-kV grid. Linear optimization is used to calculate the necessary curtailment of generation plants in order to avoid exceeding the maximum permissible temperature. To evaluate the benefit of curative grid management, the permissible utilization of the overhead lines in normal operation is analysed. The results show that (n-1)-safe operation is possible in curative grid management even with a higher normal operating load than in preventive grid management.
