Abstract:
This thesis deals with the development, construction and use of an expert system for carrying out power quality analyses in energy supply systems. In order to carry out power quality analyses, it is necessary to combine knowledge from different fields. Up to now, this task has required in-depth knowledge and also the linking of that knowledge in the fields of energy technology, information technology, communications engineering, high-frequency technology, data technology and electromagnetic compatibility, among others, which means that only a small number of personnel are available for this task. The use of the expert system now enables technicians, engineers and electrical specialists to completely solve tasks in power quality analysis without having to maintain the simultaneously broad and in-depth extensive specialist knowledge themselves, i.e. many years of in-depth training as a power quality specialist is no longer necessary. In addition, problem resolution is available immediately without any lead time. This is important, as faults usually need to be remedied very quickly. The way in which power quality faults are systematized, classified and processed in the expert system is described using specific examples. In addition, the requirements for recording and structuring the measurement data are presented. After the workflow has been completed, the expert system shows solutions for restoring flawless and highly available system functions.
