Abstract:
The realization of a novel compact switchable lowpass filter in a combined microstrip/slotline technique is described and investigated. The new filter configuration is used to introduce data induced phase jitter into a 6GBit/s NRZ-signal showing the feasibility to avoid fast switching devices in receiver chip test equipment.
