Abstract:
There are several references to projects involving the Ambient Intelligence concept (AmI) in technical publications. These are mainly centered on applications linked to the everyday situation of individuals - at home, in the street, in the car, in public places – and largely related to leisure and to a specific concept of quality of life. But, we wonder, how does the AmI concept applies to the manufacturing field? What’s going on in the industrial environment? In this article, we would like to introduce the research TEKNIKER Foundation is carrying out in these topics, and the Agent based approach we are using to provide interaction with wearable computers.
