Abstract:
In this paper, a new mathematical model of a three-phase, three-switch, three-level rectifier is presented. The model is valid under both continuous and discontinuous operating modes. The applied modeling technique is based on the switching functions concept. The obtained model is represented by time-variant state equations, which offer high simplicity for computer implementation. The proposed model is suitable for real-time applications like the Hardware-In-the-Loop testing.
