Abstract:
In this paper, an interference avoiding allocation strategy is proposed to reduce the effects of interference between User Terminals (UT) and between Access Points (AP) in a mobile network operating with Time Division Duplex (TDD). The performance of the strategy is analysed using a simplified two cell scenario. The results show an improvement in interference levels for crossed slots but at the expense of increased interference in uncrossed slots.
