Abstract:
Magnetic field analysis of an active bearing has been carried out with finite element method (FEM). Flux density distribution, and integral parameters of the field have been given, as well. The calculation results have been verified by measurements for the prototype of the active magnetic bearing. It was developed in Technical University of Opole. The measurement results confirm property of the mathematical model.
