Abstract:
Super-resolution techniques have often been applied to ISAR image processing. One of such techniques, namely the CLEAN technique, has recently been proposed by Yang et al.. In this paper, the authors propose an improvement of the CLEAN technique by introducing a new method for detecting scatterers in the ISAR image that is based on a Gaussianity Test. The effectiveness of the proposed technique, namely M-CLEAN, is tested on real data and compared to the original CLEAN technique.
