Abstract:
MDA Space Systems has successfully delivered the RADARSAT-2 Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). The flight Antenna test phase has recently been completed successfully at the MDA Space Systems Planar Near Field Range facility (PNFR) and it allowed completion of the validation process of the Antenna beam pattern prediction software. This software is used to provide the Antenna in-orbit performance predictions. This paper presents RADARSAT-2 flight Antenna test results and a comparison with predicted results.
