Abstract:
This paper presents a bistatic focusing solution for the general case, when transmitter and receiver trajectories move along non parallel trajectories with different velocities. Our approach is based on the point target’s reference spectrum for an arbitrary bistatic configuration, derived in our previous publications. In our previous publications we presented the focusing solution for bistatic azimuth invariant configurations. Processing in the general case turns out to be additionally truly azimuth time variant. This problem is solved by implementing a novel 2D inverse scaled FFT algorithm.
