Abstract:
Multidimensional SAR techniques can be considered as potential tools to perform quantitative remote sensing. Among all these techniques, it is important to consider those employing polarimetric data. This paper studies the effects of speckle noise on the information retrieval process, and special attention is paid to PolInSAR techniques, where the statistical properties of the optimum coherences and polarization states are considered.
