Abstract:
As a high resolution radar system, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is becoming more and more important in civilian and military tasks. A lot of Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) against SAR have been developed. To counter these measures, some Electronic Counter-Countermeasures (ECCM) have also been established. Using noise waveform as sounding signal is one efficient pulse diversity method. Since the signal in each pulse is uncorrelated, it is very hard for the enemy to estimate the radar signal; the repeat jamming technique is useless in this case. In this paper, a wideband pulsed waveform generating method based on DSP is investigated. Experiment results show the effectiveness of this method.
