Abstract:
In this paper, a bistatic SAR (BiSAR) imaging system is considered. The used model is three-dimensional, ‘full-polarized’ and take into account the motion of each element of the system (receiver, transmitter and target). The developed bistatic processing (for image reconstruction) is based on an extended RDA method. The highlighted point in this paper is the simulation of BiSAR imaging of complex targets. In order to model these targets, a GTD-based method is considered. Finally, some simulated results leads to show the potential of BiSAR systems.
