Abstract:
SAR raw signal simulation provides a powerful tool to estimate the SAR’s detection capacity and to check the validation of new algorithms. In this paper, the ship detection of space-borne SAR with Chirp Scaling processing algorithm in ocean environments is considered by means of raw signal simulation. The presented simulation is based on an ocean surface model, a ship model and a SAR imaging algorithm.
