Abstract:
We address the problem of region characterization in polarimetric interferometric SAR images. Indeed, polarimetry and interferometry take a variable influence on the radar backscattered signal and a quantification of these mechanisms remains difficult. Thus, using a partition algorithm, we show that the Bhattacharyya distance is an efficient contrast parameter with a simple physical interpretation.
