Abstract:
A new structure of power integrated converter is presented. These converters have been developed with standard IGBT chips and address the application of train traction drives. This new approach answers the requirement on weight, volume and cost reduction while improving the reliability. This paper presents the technology approach, the electrical characteristics of these integrated structure and some reliability aspects.
