Abstract:
A power converter evaluation platform has been proposed to quantify the correlation between converter factors such as semiconductor power devices, the conversion circuit, passive components and the control system. One of features of the proposed platform is that various parameters of the converter can be varied arbitrarily by the parameter adjustable circuit board and the digital controller. Correlations between converter factors are quantified empirically in the platform, and optimal converter parameters to realize the high output power density converter are extracted.
