Abstract:
We present a process model for IP-traffic matrix estimation, in which the task to be modeled is separated into several processes. This model enables us to analyze the complicated IP-traffic matrix estimation in unit of processes and make the causal relationships among processes easy to understand. In the course of deriving the model, we arrange the possible techniques for estimation including the method of analyzing the broadband market structure.
