Abstract:
High-power 10-Gb/s semi-cooled operation was attained for AlGaInAs electroabsorption modulator integrated AlGaInAs λ/4-shifted DFB lasers. At 53 °C, a 9.95-Gb/s 100-km transmission was achieved with an average fiber output power of +3.0 dBm.
