Abstract:
We demonstrate demodulation of a 20-Gbit/s optical quadrature duobinary signal using the digital coherent receiver. The spectral efficiency reaches 4 bit/s/Hz/polarization owing to the narrowband duobinarycoded signal and quadrature modulation.
