We experimentally demonstrate enhanced Kerr non-linear effects in tapered highly non-linear As2Se3 chalcogenide fibre with 1.2 µm waist diameter. We observe enhanced non-linearity of 68.4 W-1m-1, which is 45,000 times larger than standard silica single-mode fibre.
