Abstract:
We demonstrated a compact dispersion imbalanced loop mirror for RZ signal regeneration using a 32- cm bismuth-oxide highly-nonlinear fiber. BER measurement was performed with a 10-Gb/s 2(exp31)-1 PRBS. The receiver sensitivity was improved by 6 dB.
