Abstract:
We present bidirectional data transmission experiments in half- and full-duplex mode at 1 Gbit/s data rate over 500 m graded-index multimode fiber with VCSELs and MSM photodiodes as parts of a GaAs-based monolithically integrated transceiver chip.
