We designed a bidirectional transmission system in which a single-mode optical fiber line and a freespace optics line are directly connected without photoelectric devices. 1 Gbit/s transmissions at 1310 and 1550 nm wavelengths were successfully achieved with 5 Hz vibration using an automatic optical axis alignment method.
