Abstract:
We demonstrate record 400km transport of a 40Gb/s OCDM signal comprising eight polarizationmultiplexed and spectral-phase-encoded tributaries. Quaternary code scrambling is demonstrated over long distance transmission for the first time to provide enhanced confidentiality.
