Abstract:
Hydrogen for the supply of micro PEM fuel cells is generated by catalytic hydrolysis of an aqueous solution of sodium borohydride (NaBH4) in a microreactor. Different Ru-covered support materials were used as heterogeneous catalysts. The most promising catalyst materials were tested in different types of continuous micro reactors. Several micro pumps were investigated with respect to their suitability for this application.
