Abstract:
A liquid chromatography Si-based miniaturised system for agrofood applications, in particular for wine quality assays, has been realized. The system is mainly based on two modules: i.) the separation module consisting of a Si-based open tubular separation column with inlet/outlet for fluidic connections and ii.) the detection module. Both potentiometric and voltammetric sensors have been developed, the possibility to combine the voltammetric detection with the potentiometric one can allow extracting much more information about the analyte and choosing the best detection method according to the species analysed. An ASIC integrated read-out electronics has been developed. A modular package of the two modules of the system has been properly realized. Laboratory tests have been carried out.
