Abstract:
The design and assembly of a micro-optical system for blue ray pickup optics @407 nm in mobile data storage systems are described. Key parameters for the smart system performance are high alignment accuracy during assembly and high stability of the fixation. The process steps in terms of handling, alignment and joining to meet these high requirements will be illustrated as well as the potential to adapt the assembly technology to high volume production.
