Abstract:
For a discrete time ring network of single transmission stations with no buffer space we prove an arrival theorem which describes under stationary conditions the distribution of the network states seen by a test packet when arriving at a specified station. From this we obtain the individual transmission time distribution of a packet when passing the station.
