Abstract:
A user friendly software application was developed for both academic and industrial purpose to study electromagnetic interference (EMI) problems between electrical power lines (EPL) and nearby metallic pipelines (MP). To evaluate the induced a.c. interference, an equivalent electrical circuit approach based on a hybrid method presented in previous paper was implemented. Practical EMI problems between EPL and underground MP are studied. Obtained results are compared with results provided by other already validated EMI software applications.
