Abstract:
A Composite Power System could consist of an autonomous ensemble of renewable and conventional energy sources and loads connected as an autonomous mini distribution system with embedded/distributed generation. This paper reviews an efficient and economical design for the connection, operational and control strategy of a Composite Power Systems (CPS) for constant voltage and frequency operation regardless of the load frequency and the magnitude of the load cycles imposed. In our design we have used Pulse width modulation control for inverter and constant dc voltage approach to supply inverter will be used. The results of the simulations conducted with Simulink-Matlab@ will be presented.
