Abstract:
Current control ensures that the performance of a power converters remains within specification despite voltage uncertainties; it also attenuates system disturbances, especially for low inductance systems. This paper presents a new smart FPGA based approach for power converter control utilizing space vector pulse width modulation with simultaneous supervision by a 3-phase hysteresis current controller in order to meet fault ride through requirements and for fast suppression of significant disturbances.
