Abstract:
This paper proposes a single-stage three-phase ac-dc converter with high-frequency isolation, power factor correction (PFC), and bidirectional capability. The presented topology is adequate for in high-power ac/dc converter applications, being able to control the power flow from different sources to loads, with high flexibility in the interconnection of such sources. Based on the three-phase version of the dual active bridge [1] associated with the three-state-switching cell (3SSC), the power flow between the primary and secondary sides is controlled by the phase-shift angle. Considering a fundamental model, a theoretical analysis is presented and validated through simulation results.
