Abstract:
Paper shows the overview of the most significant six phase VSI control techniques for the dual three-phase induction machine (DTPIM) drives. In order to properly compare the inverter control techniques, as well as to quantify their quality of control, criterion function is proposed. Proposed function recognizes relevant aspects of drive control: DC bus utilization, voltage THD, minimization of currents in the non-torque producing subspaces, implementation complexity and produced switching losses. In regard to those aspects, ranking of the control techniques was performed. The ranking of the control techniques is made based on comparison of the experimental results.
