Abstract:
The focus of this paper is the control of grid connected converters with improved power quality features. Improvement of the power quality characteristics is achieved by the means of harmonic compensation in synchronous reference frame. The practical implementation of the grid connected converter control with current harmonic compensation is realized using a state of the art modern laboratory prototype for testing power electronic and converters. Practical implementation and the comparison between power quality characteristics before and after the current harmonic compensation is shown.
