Abstract:
In this paper the inductance matrix of a high frequency (50kHz) three phase inductor is determined by 3D-FEM simulation to calculate each phase current of the inductor. Afterwards the matrix is verified by means of additional measurements of the coupling factor. Further it is shown how the currents per time in each phase can be calculated for a symmetrical rectangular voltage input with a frequency of 50kHz. At the end it can be seen how this way can be used to determine the current rise and fall of a measured 15kHz PWM signal.
