Abstract:
In this paper, a position sensorless speed control system for PMSM in the overmodulation of a inverter is proposed. Considering about operating the sensorless vector control in the range, harmonics voltage/current affect not only the closed loop current control system but also the position/speed estimation system and then become unstable in the worst case. To solve this problem, authors have been proposed a position sensorless control system with harmonic estimator, which compensate harmonics components. So far, the proposed method has shown the effectiveness for the improvement of the torque control performance. In this paper, performances of the proposed method were evaluated under speed control condition.
