Abstract:
In this paper a level 2 model of a new ceramic DC-link capacitor is presented. The model identifies the most important characteristics like temperature, AC ripple and DC bias dependency of capacitance and losses. The model is implemented for time- and frequency-domain up to radio frequencies for EMC simulation. Non-linearities have been taken into account to be able to do system optimization for steady-state conditions of applications.
