Abstract:
This paper gives a short overview about technologies that enable modular building blocks for electromobility applications. In the first section comfort is discussed as one of the key enablers for a broader distribution of electromobility. As a basic building block, a surface heating system based on carbon nanotubes (CNT) is presented. This surface heating system gives an example for a modular, easy to apply technology for electromobility. Modular building blocks for battery systems in the field of electromobility are presented in the second part of this paper. The current research state and the next working steps are presented in the final chapter.
